Skagway was the best day of the trip. We got there early and had most of the day to walk around town. I was able to send out some postcards to my neices and nephews from this beautiful town. Mom, Dad, Wendy, and Scott went over to Yukon Canada on the railroad. They enjoyed taking in the scenery from above while Kendra, Derek, and I enjoyed the scenery from sea level. We hiked out to Yakatania Point and then on to Smuggler's Cove. We bought a few souvenirs here, also. It was another beautiful day in Alaska - bright and sunny - isn't this the rainforest? We were able to enjoy the solitude and peace.
This is what Alaska is all about!
I chose to sit and enjoy the peace from the rocks . . .
. . . while Kendra and Derek got closer to the water.
Yakatania Point
And here is Smuggler's Cove.

My favorite stop by far was Skagway. That hike was awesome, as was the company. What a great idea, Beej. You are Super Woman. Love ya, Kendra
Thanks Kendra! You are the superwoman, though!
